Since the foundation the FVAS has realized several projects.                  
2002 Hosting the Travelling exhibition of Centro Cultural Cariforo - in cooperation with the Directorate of Culture. Inventing a quiz to encourage students to know more about other Caribbean Countries and Art.
2001 Art Poster & Brochure Project "People with a disability, the untapped workforce".
Concept: It is not yet generally accepted that People with a disability also have the right to work. The aim of this project was to produce professionally designed posters and brochures. An Fancy Fair, Art Exhibition and Contest put the subject in the spotlight.
2000 "Without Boundaries" Exchange program with EJECT, an international exchange program in Suriname with artists of The Netherlands, Columbia, Germany, Trinidad & Tobago and Suriname. Exchange program with Kiskadee, a cultural laboratory in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
"Suriname, van Nederlandse kolonie tot onafhankelijke staat". An Educational Art Exhibition about the history in Suriname and a walking rally within for schoolchildren.
1999 Pieces of Plastic Art for Senior Citizens
Concept: 'Old Iron' is very useful. You can produce beautiful art of it.

Exhibitions
  Artists in Suriname regularly have exhibitions in Paramaribo. These exhibitions often are for only a short period. At Art Gallery Readytex, the Art Info Desk in the lobby of hotel Zeelandia, House of Arts  continuously there is an Art exhibition to see.
